If you are getting married during the colder months then you might be greatful for the extra insulation; if your day is during the summer though, make sure it’s not all too much – over heating and getting sweaty is not a recipe for a relaxing day.

Comfort matters too

This is perhaps the most important thing to remember. However comfy your basque feels when you try it on, it’s not going to feel the same after 8 hours under a big white dress.
